KITCHENS

The kitchen is the heartbeat of the home. At the table we gather to eat and connect as a family. It’s where we drop our things when we’re finally home from work or school and it’s where we synchronize our calendars and hang our children’s crafts. It’s where we designate special drawers for all those little things we don’t know what to do with and, of course, it’s where we do what we enjoy most, preparing our favorite foods and entertaining those we love.

Not everyone can afford a complete kitchen renovation, but small improvements can make a significant difference in functionality and enjoyment, not to mention the homeowner’s self esteem. Cabinet refacing, new flooring or countertops, or even a new sink and faucet could help you fall in love with your kitchen once again. Research shows that even minor renovations to a kitchen can return 80 to 90 percent of the costs through an increase in home value. Most home buyers perceive kitchen updates to be as high as twice the actual costs which increase the perceived value as well as actual value of your home.
